Hyer’s in-house work had already started to explore darker lighting with structured, gobo-like effects. We built on that by elevating it into a fully 3D environment.

Each product is suspended against a sculptural, gel like liquid shaped around the Hyer ‘H’, giving the imagery a clinical, almost futuristic quality. This treatment reinforces product performance while retaining a sleek, modern aesthetic.

To complement the darker direction, Hyer also needed lighter imagery that would feel softer and more accessible. We explored a range of textural applications, including emulations of the gummies themselves, before settling on a liquid form that tied back to the darker visuals. This approach created consistency across the two moods, while still appealing to the audience’s sensibilities for clean, minimal imagery.

For e-commerce and everyday use, Hyer also needed a set of clean, functional product renders. We initially explored a more stylised direction, incorporating additional elements around the bottles, but found that it distracted from the clarity needed for retail and online platforms.

The solution was to strip everything back, minimal studio lighting, clean compositions, and subtle reflections that keep the focus entirely on the product. The final renders achieve the balance between accuracy and aesthetic, giving Hyer flexible assets that feel premium without losing practicality.
